Why this exists.
I run a clinical trials company by day. We move slowly on purpose — when you ship software that touches a Phase III trial, you don't ship fast.
So in the evenings, I made things. Small things. A bandwidth-tracker for our team's Friday demo, an onboarding doc for my EA Maria, a per-diem calculator for a colleague's trip. The kind of thing you'd never spin up a Vercel project for.
Every single one of them had the same problem. Claude made the thing. The thing was beautiful. Now what? Vercel was overkill. Linktree was the wrong shape. Notion looked like a Notion page, not the thing the model drew. The artifact was stuck inside the chat.
So Maria had this lovely, custom, animated onboarding hub for our new hires — and the only way I could share it with her was a Slack message that said "paste this into Notion and screenshot it I guess."
MakeItRun is the home for that thing. The one she made. The one you made. The one the printer was supposed to print but you'd rather just scan.
It runs on a small Hetzner box, a Cloudflare account, and a fleet of agents I've trained to do everything from PRs to support emails. There is one human (me) and a queue.
If a thing breaks, the email comes to me. If you have an idea, the email also comes to me. — Derk
